Mobile App: Adding Notes to a Customer Account
Customer notes are a great way to record important details that may not be tied to a specific job, such as preferences, property access information, or historical context. These notes are visible to your team and help provide better service on future appointments.
Where to Find Customer Notes
You can add and view notes from the Customer Profile:
- Open the Customer Profile by:
- Tapping the Customer button from Job Summary, or
- Searching for the customer through the Customers option in the Main Menu
- Tap the Notes tab in the profile
How to Add a Note
- Tap the + icon
- Enter the note in the text box.
- Select if you would like the note to be visible to the customer and if you would like to pin the note to the top of the customer's profile.
- Tap Save.
Once saved, your note will be time-stamped and attributed to your user profile.
When to Use Customer Notes
Use customer notes to document helpful, non-job specific details such as:
- Gate codes or parking details
- Communication preferences
- Pets on property
- Follow-up reminders
- General observations or special requests
