Mobile App: Adding Photos to a Job
Technicians can easily capture and upload job-related photos directly within the Sera Mobile App. This helps keep a visual record of work performed, equipment details, and job site conditions all accessible from the customer's record.
Where to Add Photos
From the Job Summary screen, you will see a Photos button. This is where you will upload images tied to the current job.
How to Add Photos
- Open the Job Summary for the appointment.
- Tap the Photos button
- Choose whether to:
- Take a Photo
- Choose an Image from your gallery
- Tap Use Photo to attach the photo to the job
Where Photos Go
Once uploaded into the job, all photos will be visible in the Photos section in two places:
- The current job
- The Customer Profile (for long term service history reference)
Best Practices
- Capture before and after shots when applicable
- Make sure photos are clear and well-lit
Adding photos helps improve documentation, customer communication, and team collaboration. It's an important part of maintaining accurate service records.
