Mobile App: Creating a Quote

The Quoting feature in the Sera mobile app empowers you to build professional, accurate quotes right from the field.  You can offer customers multiple solution tiers (Good, Better, Best), manage quote statuses, and present options for digital approval, or send via email for further review - all in just a few taps.

From the Job Summary, tap Quotes 

You will land on the quote overview screen where you can view, create, or manage all quotes associated with this job.  All quotes associated to the job including any open, draft or denied quotes for this address from prior jobs will be separated by status tabs.  

 

 

 

 

Creating a new quote

Tap the plus button to create a new quote SCR-20250622-ktwu

Enter a name and description for the quote (optional) 

Select tasks from your company's pricebook to add line items by clicking the + Add Items button. 

Use the search at the top of the task picker or the buttons to search through the categories.  Recently used tasks are listed below the categories.  You can select one or more items to add to the quote simultaneously by tapping the + button and then selecting the Save Items to Quote button. 

Once items are added to the quote, you can edit any of the items, add them to groups or delete.  Access any of those options by swiping left on the task within the Quote.  With the setting enabled in your company, you can edit line item pricing, quantity, warranty and description for each item.  

To group multiple items together to allow for more lump sum pricing to your quote, swipe left on the main task for the group, tap Group and then select all other tasks to add to this group by checking the box and tapping Save. 

Add any discount, if applicable, by selecting the tap to add on the Discount line

Save to the appropriate status using the buttons at the bottom.  Remember that as soon as a quote is created it will automatically be saved as a Draft but you can use these buttons to either keep the quote as a draft quote for future editing or save it as open to allow for customer presentation.
