Mobile App: I am getting an error when attempting to upload photos.. help!
If you're seeing an error message when trying to upload photos in the Sera Mobile App, there are a few common causes and quick fixes. Follow the steps below to get back up and running!
Common Reasons for Upload Errors
- Photo permissions are not enabled
- If the app can't access your camera or photo library, uploads will fail. Check out how to enable photo sharing on your device here.
- Poor Internet Connection
- A weak of unstable connection may cause photo uploads to time out. Try switching to Wi-Fi or moving to a better service area with better cellular coverage.
- Photo file is too large or corrupted
- Rarely, certain photos will fail to upload if they are too large or not in a supported format. Try uploading a different photo or taking a new one within the app.
- App needs to be restarted
- This app may be in a stuck date due to memory or background activity. Close the app completely and reopen it.
- Outdated app version
- Older versions of the app may not support certain device permissions or formats. Make sure you're using the latest version of the Sera Mobile App from the App Store or Google Play.
