Mobile App: Sending Emails 

Technicians can quickly and easily send important documents, such as quotes and invoices, to customers via email, right from the Sera Mobile App.  This makes communication seamless and helps keep everything documented and professional. 

When Can You Send an Email?

You can email documents in two key scenarios: 

  1. Sending Quotes 
    1. After building a quote, you will see an email icon.  Tapping this will open a prompt to send the quote to the customer's email address(es) on file.  You can also add ad hoc email addresses to the email. 
  2. Sending Invoices
    1. Once a quote is accepted and converted into an invoice, you can also email the invoice using the same email icon

  1. Navigate to the Job Summary
  2. Tap into the Quotes or Invoices sectionn
  3. Look for the email icon:
    1. Quotes will have an email option in the Actions menu of an individual quote
    2. Tap Select and check the quotes you would like to send via email from the floating bar at the bottom 
    3. Invoices have an email icon in the upper right hand corner
  4. Tap the icon to open the email dialog
  5. Confirm the customer's email address and add any additional email addresses
  6. Tap Send Email

Tip: the email will be sent with the quote or invoice as an attachment

Notes

  • The email will come from your company's configured email address
  • If the customer doesn't receive the email, please verify their email address in the Customer Profile and ask them to check their spam/junk folder
  • For any continued delivery issues, contact your office or admin team
