Future Appointment Visibility in the Sera Mobile App (Technician-Facing)
We’re excited to introduce a long-requested update for technicians: the ability to view upcoming appointments directly within the Sera Mobile app.
This feature gives teams more forward visibility while still allowing admins full control over who can access future schedules.
What’s Included
Once enabled, technicians can:

View their full appointment list for the current day

View scheduled appointments up to 7 days in the future

Navigate between days using the calendar ribbon
-
See both appointments and calendar events in the schedule view
This improves planning, preparation, and day-to-day awareness for technicians in the field.
How It Works
This feature is opt-in for existing accounts and is controlled in two ways:
1. Company-Level Setting
Admins can enable Future Appointment Visibility for the entire account.
2. Technician-Level Control
Once enabled at the company level, admins can toggle the feature on or off per technician.
This allows flexibility, such as:

Enabling it for veteran technicians

Keeping it disabled for technicians in training

Rolling it out gradually across your team
For new accounts, this feature will be enabled by default.
Important Notes

Future appointments reflect the technician’s assigned schedule at the time of viewing.

Schedules may still change due to rescheduling, reassignment, or cancellations.

This feature increases visibility but does not lock or guarantee appointment times.

Cancelled appointments are not shown.
